The official Training Camp number 2 took place at the end of May and at the beginning of June 2025 in and around Brno. We were happy to welcome several teams from abroad who came to test the specifics of the local terrains.
Various training areas had been set up for the participants allowing for free form trainings as well as for an official race on Saturday. The goal was to showcase the mapping style as well as the terrain character to be expected during EYOC. The young athletes generally appreciated high quality maps, and noticed difficult terrains with locally dense vegetation.
In M16, the trio of Slovakian racers took the podium (Boris Kocúr, Michal Marko, Michal Paulus), in W16 the first and second place was taken by the Croatian racers, Dora and Sara Delić, followed by Anna Marie Kotecká representing Luxembourg.
In M18, the Slovaks continued their swipe (Matej Balogh, Dávid Cisár, Maksym Volkov), in W18 the podium was taken by a mixed group of Gaya Mitzafon (ISR), Nina Jurčíková (SVK) and Silvia Trifonova (BUL).
